valve stem
hello all. just bought the grabber for my 06 1300 c today. been reading on here a while about it. looks like a great tire. the question i have is do i need to get a steel valve stem or stay with the rubber one that came on the stock rim? thanks, ole bob[i]

i left my stock one on, but it was just a year old. The next tire i put on I will replace with a new valve stem, the rubber will dry rot over time.

Steel valve stems are good, but check the clearance down there. Make sure you can insert a pressure guage and air pump before you change them out. On the 1100, if you put steel valve stems, the standard pressure guages won't fit and most tire pumps won't either!

My R came with a 90 degree steel rear valve stem and a rubber front. My next front tire its getting aone like the rear.
