The Hellbender -The Dragon on 22 wheels

Took 93,000 pounds of powerline conductor wire over to Fontana this morning. I came in through the Ocoee into Murphy and Robbinsville , NC. It was a rush dealing with the weight around 128,000 to 130,000 gross in those curves and mountains with rain and soaked leaves. Took this shot from The Hellbender 28 most of leaves are gone but some fall color still remain.

I unloaded below Fontana Dam and made the call to do The Dragon since I was runnin' empty.I love this road on a bike but I had about the same adrenaline going through me takin' the tractor-trailer through.Did'nt see a single bike today and did'nt get my Killboy shot in the big rig Weather was nasty today rain , fog etc. This was my 4th time ever to take a tractor-trailer across The Dragon.

Nasty day....Those leaves will kill you on a bike.I used all my lane and some of the other in the hard curves but tryed my best to stay on my side of the yellow. Not easy to do with a 3 axle low-boy.

Not much going on at the over-look on The Dragon .

Crossed my mind to do The Foothills Parkway.....

I said " self " you made it through The Dragon don't push your luck
