Suggestion for board tag line

I came across a quote that I think should be the official board tagline or motto:

"Opinions divorced from knowledge are ugly things." Socrates

What do y'all think?

I think it is a good saying....
But we are here to give knowedge away and that makes it look like anyone without our knowedge is stupid and has a worthless opinion, which I don't believe to be the case.
I believe all opinions have value, wether I agree or not. It shows the individual has at least thought about what he is talking about. Then all they need is to be shown the proof/evidence of our knowledge to start on the path of enlightenment.

I don't see it that way in anyway. If I said "ignorance is the enemy" that doesn't mean I think that people who are ignorant are bad, it means that they are in a state that's bad, and the state should be rectified. Ugly things can be valued. LOL But they need to be valued as good examples of bad examples.

Morgan I don't want to debate you on this (I hate loosing). And it isn't my call anyway, I just visit here... All I was really trying to point out was that it could be viewed negatively. It could also be viewed that we don't like people that aren't darksiders......Every subject has 2 sides I was just turning it over.....

No, point counter point isn't really debate. It's more like a balance sheet discussion on values issues. I mean, how can his interpretation of the sentence be debatable? He sees it one way, I see it another. If I was debating, I'd have started with, "No, you're wrong about what that means and this is why...."
