Observation Empty Observation

With over 600 miles on my new tire since Thursday, I noticed that my bike felt like a two wheeled train on the track of my choice - very stable, especially with a passenger. The most signifcant gain (IMO) is TIME. Now I have more time to look around, view my environment, and watch for that killer automobile trying to flatten me or the deer running across the road. With the MC tire, my bike would sometimes drift in the direction of my gaze when looking around, especially on uneven pavement, which forced me to use quick darting glances to check all the trouble spots. Now, I can almost let the bike drive itself with minimal steering input while I look around more. Riding from Southern MN back home to Minneapolis yesterday, my partner wanted to keep going (first time ever!) when I wanted to stop for a bite to eat. Since she usually is the one requesting a break before I'm ready to stop, it tells me she's comfortable on the DARKSIDE!
