Life is too short to get upset over trivial stuff.

I'm in too! Cool idea. It will go good with my Ga. VTX riders patch. Keep us posted.

Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
Hey Brad! Just for grins, and as long as you are in a graphics mode...
I noticed that your back fender, the lines, line up pretty well with Darth Vaders Helmet..around the eyes.
Wonder if you could take a picture of the rear of your bike and overlay a translucent "vadar helmet", lining up his helmet with your fender.
Thinking that might look pretty cool...

Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
I say definately do not put a size on it as that is way too limiting as some of our members can run a 240 and wider. The hondas are limited to a 205,215 with mods. The patch looks good like it is.

I've been busy ... sorry it took so long. Personally, I don't like it, but for what it is worth, here it is.

I think there is way too much tribute to Star wars in the patch. I like my sci-fi but thats a bit much for my tastes.

I am open to any suggestions! Or anyone else who knows graphic design to come up with something. I am the last one to claim I have the answer. :cyclops:

Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
I hope I did not offend. Please forgive me. You work is great but as a patch it would have to be huge to get the detail that you show with this design. Kinda a less is more type of thing is what I was thinking. I will buy whatever yall come up with tho. Please dont take what I said wrong.

Moon,
Absolutely no offense taken ... seriously! I am in agreement with you. Constructive criticism is always good.

Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
I'd lose the writing in the tire and the bike in the corner. Not sure how well those elements would translate to the patch.
Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
I have to agree with moon... those are way too busy. They look like big avatars (and they're fine for that) not patches. Just my opinion.

Patches for DarkSide
Just wanted y'all to know I'm still around. Some personal stuff came up and I have not really been putting all I promised on design of new patch.
I will resume as soon asap!

Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
I agree with toasted on losing the writing on the tire and bike in the corner I think it looks plenty cool with just the darkside stuff at the bottom. That will also help with the quality of the stitch work in the patch. My other 2cents
Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
Let me know when you get the design completed. I have connections to a place that will produce as many or as few patches as you want to order. There is a one time fee (not much) for digitizing the design for the embroidery machine (28 thread) and then you pay by the patch. The prices are very good. Send me a PM and I'll get the information to you. It's really great when you don't have to order by the 100.

Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
Okay ... here is the first one I did. No writing on tire, no bike, no Darth Vader, just something simple.

Re: Patches for DARKSIDE
I like it without the motorcycle. Just to make do for all the different rides.
