I just got back on bike about 3 months ago. 12 years ago I had a close call at 145mph and its taking a while to saddle back up. But I really enjoy riding and modifying my vtx and my atv. So it didnt take long before the mods start coming. I knew a back tire was coming up so I started researching and 2 guys at work on Valkeries both ran ct's and that peaked my intrest. I was really let down by the constant brick walls you hit by people not willing to help with the mounting of the ct. It really cracks me up when someone tells me it wont work and Im an idiot and wont handle worth a flip, but when asked if they have ridden on ct they say no. They say the phisics of it wont work but I say phisics say helicopters cant fly ,so dont look up. I thought all these hardcore bikers were all about being a rebel and pushing it to the edge but I guess there all just a bunch of pu-has now.

Because of the guys at work and this board I now have the Cooper ZEON 2XS 205/55/16 on my 1800c. Man what a difference that thing makes. The only thing that I dont like about the ride it rides off an edge. For example: at work we ride up a side walk to park on a patio but at the end of it we hop off the side walk at a 45 degree angle onto grass and man that thing wants to throw you,but now I expect so its no big deal.

Thanks for the help I love the Darkside.

Welcome, man, welcome. Gotta love it...I take mine to a sport bike place that they guys are just plain crazy anyway...turbos and performance stuff to go like 300 miles an hour.. LOL They think I'm crazy, but in a different way, and just mount the darn thing. It's going to be a challenge when I get a chrome wheel tho... there's no way I'm going to let them strong arm a tire onto a chrome rim...guess I'll have to find a custom car shop and just bring the wheel in.
