Hello New Darksider here
I've been lurking on this site for sometime now and decided to be part of the gang. I have a Honda Silverwing scooter that I recently converted to the darkside. I have Sumitomo 165/70/13 oem 150/70/13. I put 20,000 mile on my MT before switching to CT. All I can say I love the handling of CT and will not going back to MT. I commute year round 120 mile round trip so MT suits my need.

Camano Rider,
You either need a photobucket account which is free and upload pics there from your hard drive and then copy and past the address here or send the pics to bobby.newsom@ntg.com and I will post them for you! How's that?

Hello Camano Rider, Welcome to the Darkside, I looked at your photobucket pics, great job doing it yourself , i liked this one:
DarkScoot is a good nick name.
I know it's not the same but i had a Silverwing back in the early 80's but it was like a smaller version if the gold wing.

Re: Hello New Darksider here
I'm glad you like it. I like the how my scoot ride since I switched to CT. I commute each day to work year round and I had 20,000 on OEM before switching to CT. I'm glad I did, my mileage actually increased by 10 percent and I like the added stability. I have also a 03 SV1000S sport bike which I also use just for commuting. I'm thinking of darksiding it as well but I am having a hard time finding the right size of CT to use, oem is 180/55/17. I found several option 195/45/17 but it would be a bit short and would change my speedo by 10 percent. I really like the stability of CT which I need since the weather here in WA is alway wet and windy. Any idea that would work for my SV let me know. I never thought of Darkscoot as nickname that would have been a great one..

Re: Hello New Darksider here
Thanks for posting that. My ex-paw-inlaw just got one of those. I think it's a pretty fast nimble scooter. I bet it feels great on the Darkside with that thing. I know what im getting my paw-in law for x-mas now!
