Darksider on his way to Acapulco Mexico

Fellas, I did all the reading and have decided to put the volkswagen tire on. I really appreciate the advice and threads that you folk have done. I decided to go over to the darkside because there aren't many rear tires in Mexico that fit this thing.

You riding down to Acapulco or what?

You're right about long distance and dark side tires. Doesn't make sense to ride to alaska and have to change tires before you can come back.

Let us know about the ride and post some pictures of the bike and tire.....

The tire is on and it is reallly is smmoooooooth! I threw in some zinc coated bbs before I seated the rim. Don't worry folks, those zinc coated bbs don't rust. I put some in a jar of water for a while to see if it would rust and they don't.

Yes, I am going to Acapulco. I will be going through Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Let me know if I can throw the tent in your yard and we can share a couple of brewskis!!
