Here's is Tanglefoot pulling the staples in my stock seat.
Here is the memory foam added to the seat and rough cut to the shape we wanted with about 2" removed and ready to finish sanding.
Here is the final product and WOW.....what a difference. The look and feel of the ride is fantastic.
I will tell you the most dramatic thing I learned..... is this seat mod helps the handling by lowering the center of gravity and feels good.

Did you use the same material to cover it back up?
Did you use staples again, or screws?
Leather looks really tight and professional. You set a pretty high bar!

Used the same original stock covering because we didn't have a sewing machine yet!
We put stainless steel staples this time...the original staples were about rusted out.
