new tire problem

got my khumo tire on( i like it ),but i have drawback at a high rate speed trrun great about 120 mph. on backdown
the bike starts to go side to side as in weaving,up to 80mph and down great no problem tire is bal. and all what do yu'll
think the problem....trell

Never heard of that problem before Have you replaced your stock shock bushings yet? It's been a common problem with the 1300's.

It seems that the car tires make the inferior parts like the head bearing, bushings, and stock front dunnies show their weaknesses. Of course some guys on other boards that DON'T run the darkside have these issues also.

How much tire press. you running?
This 32lbs. of air is BS. You need to run a min. or 38, and 40 even better or 42.

i had read about the shock bshing before i put the c/t on so i changed them,so i don't think that the problem
i'm running stock tire on front ,tire pres 36 0n f and 46 on c/t bike never had any problem at high speed before
tire change so that make vme think it the tire set up or something with the swt.to c/t i do like the ride alot better on c/t.
think i ought to lower c/t air pres.?....trell

How many miles on the stock M/T?????? That could be your problem.

Put at least 41 to 44 psi in the Kuhmo!

bobby i got about 7kto8k on the front m/t tire .i'll buy another one if that would help
should i put the dunlap stock tire back on or would another brand be better....trell

Another brand for sure! Do NOT go back with a dunlop!
