what car tire goes with the rocket 2300

I have a bro that is planninmg a car tire swap on his rocket , has any one done this and what might be the issues Thanks

What was the rear wheel size, I know I asked the gentleman at the Polar Bear run that...heck he lives not too far from me too...can't remember his name...nice red Rocket III though.

240-50-16 is the stock size .... that tells me there are a hell of a lot of options to fit that bike. I think I would look for a meaty run flat to throw on that beast and go play.

I personally would have serious concerns on a tire that wide that the flatter tread pattern would have sustantial negative effects to handling, but I could be wrong. We get away with it cause our tires are not all that wide to start with.

It might take a little more to push it off into the twisties but it would not be much different than the 205. JMHO

It may just be the extra rake, but I rode a custom with a 250 rear and it required more steering input than my wideside and that was with a 250 MT. Again, I'm not saying it can't be done, but that it should be done with caution by an experienced rider and honestly evaluated without the adverse effect of testosterone
