Installed the Austone tire on my 10 Voyager
Got in 200 miles on it today. Tire handles just like a M/C tire. I was hoping it would. I have run the 205 series on my Valkyrie I use to own. Don't know if it will fit on the prior models with the drive shaft. It did rub a little at first in the swing arm. It's fine now. Now to see how long it will last. I ran it up to around 90 and was very stable. My speedometer and gps are dead even. Even at 80 it's still correct now. I did correct the speedometer, but now the miles are reading a little off. Compared to the gps it reads 10.5 miles and the speedometer reads 10 miles. Not a bad thing. As of now I like this tire. I think it is only rated for 99 mph. Don't see any reason why I need to be at that speed anyway.

You should be more than satisfied with with the way that tyre handles the various roads wet and dry. I ride a 1500GL with Austone (36 psi) rear and a BTX (40 psi) mounted reverse up front. with 14,100 miles. Dyna beads for balance.Best move I've made going DD.
Take care,

Re: Installed the Austone tire on my 10 Voyager
If the Austone(175/80-16) rubs or is very close to rubbing I found a tire that is a little shorter, here is my post from another site
For those that have been looking for a 175/75-16 tire because the 175R16(Austone or Dunlop) is just a little bit to tall, I found these and went to take a look at them. The store I went to didn't have any in that size in stock but they said they could get them in a couple of days. I did look at the 185/75-16 tire and it looked like a very good tire, rubber was nice and soft. If they were made in China I would be weary of them but these tires are made in Taiwan and the company(Maxxis) was founded in 1967. Looks like when I wear out my Comtrac 175/75-16 I'll get one of these 175/75-16 tires. This tire is 7/10" shorter than the 175R16 tire and it is a 8 ply tire
