Rear tire for my 2002 VTX 1800S

I'm looking for a trouble free tire for my spoke rear rim.
I ran a TT 205/60R 16 on my last bike until it got totaled out.  (nothing to do with the tire)
Put 36,000 miles on it with hardly any wear.
Will a TT 195/70R 15 fit?
Do I need a special tube? 
Any suggestions?
