DArkaside Tire for sale

I have an Austone taxi tire (175R16) mounted and balanced on a GL1500 wheel. Has maybe 1500 miles on it. I gave it a fair chance but went back to a motorcycle tire. It didn't scare me or anything... just didn't handle as well as motorcycle tire. Since it is mounted and balanced (wheel included), I am asking $180 plus actual shipping.

All I can say is, "WOW, you must have one helluva bike tire!" The only tire I've found better than the Aussie is the Dunlop taxi. I don't know of ANY bike tire that could compete with any of them.

Nothing special about the Dunlop E3 I put on... I just don't like the way a flat surface tire "feels". It makes me feel a bit unstable on uneven surfaces (like my driveway) in the same way a worn out bike tire feels. The only issue I had with the tire at speed on the highway was a slight tendancy to "hunt" left and right. I suspect the this is because the CT is a radial and I have bias ply on the front. Absolutely nothing I couldn't live with, but not as comfortable as the bike tire.

1) What year is the wheel ... 2) is it still available... 3) whats shipping to GA 30540

The wheel is from my 1989 GL1500.  I still have it.  Not sure about shipping.  UPS's website says $43.57 for ground.
