1800 F Tire recommendations
Is there a list of recommended tires anywhere, I saw one somewhere, had a list of tires that were tried and not recommended? Is anybody running the Hankook Ventus V2? I found a small mom and pop place that can get me the V2 at a good price and will mount for $15. I was looking at the V12, but their supplier doesn't carry the V12. Not sure if there is much difference and if there is I want to go with a tire with good reviews from someone that is running DS. Any info on what the F's are running and if any mods are needed to make it work. I ride double up and we are not anorexic, lol. Not the biggest selection in 215/45r18.
thanks

Continental ContiPro
I just got the Continental ContiProContact P195/55R16 installed on my VTX1800C and I LOVE it
I did not want the 205 because there is very little "wiggle room" and to me, the 195 is perfect.... also lowered the rear a bit

Re: 1800 F Tire recommendations
I really love my Cooper Zeon ZPT. It is as wide as possible and looks bad ass. The treads are also very deep. Actually I need to pull the wheel soon and put moly on the splines because this tire is lasting so long.
I prefer treaddepot.com They have the Zeon ZPT 215/45/18 for $110 + $20 shipping to my address.

I run the Hankook Ventas V12 215/45-18 with 30psi and love it, it handles great and the traction is amazing !
Use the Y speed rated tire , you won't regret it.

Re: 1800 F Tire recommendations
I am wanting to know how everyone is liking running the ct on the F. I have put two bike tires on mine this summer alone. I found a tire store that will sell me the tire and mount it for $125. Also how do you balance them?
