New member here. Noticed some folks have had this problem on GL1500. Had same problem; my cure: Contacted Progressive Industries in CA by phone. Their Tech immediately told me to purchase their 412-4223C GL1500 heavy duty, sealed gas rear shocks w/4 preload settings, made specifically for the 1500 AND also perfect for a sidecar rig[which I also own]. GREAT SHOCKS! BEST purchase I ever made for my Wing rig!  My 2 cents. TTFN. .....papasmurf37 in NH
