2005 Yamaha Road star midnight 1700
I am looking at getting a tire for my bike and I am wondering if anyone can tell me what size car tire would work best on the backof my bike? My father in law runs on the darkside and told me about this site. He said its the only way to go and i might be able to get an answer here.

If your tire is the same as my 08' Roadstar then a 195/60r16 is what I am running. I am running a Bridgestone EL400 and love the way it feels. Currently I have 38psi in the tire and it is working great. My stock tire size was 150/80-16. Hope this helps

Only one piece of advice I would tell you, Don't go with a cheap tire. Toyo, and Donlop don't have the same weight rating. Glad I could help
