Turning DS
Have a 2005 1800c, since I am an everyday rider, I will be going Darkside for economic reasons. I was looking at the hydroedge. Any thoughts? Also, anyone know what size on this tire I will need? All comments appreaciated.

Re: Turning DS
I think they have stopped making the HydroEdge, You will need a 205/60 or 65/16 size tire.
Goodyear still makes the TripleTred in a 205/60/16 size which is a populat Darkside tire.
A lot of Goldwingers are using a Michelin winter snow tire with great results.
Take a look at this... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=X-Ice+Xi2&partnum=065TR6XI2&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes
That tire has a rounded edge and looks like it would be a really smooth riding tire. The 65 series tires are a bit easier to mount too.

Re: Turning DS
Thanks for the info. I live in Texas, not sure if the snow tire would have any real advantage for me. I'll take a look at the Goodyear. Thanks again.
