Just ordered a 195/60-16 MICHELIN ENERGY SAVER 89V for my 2009 Road King.

It will be a few days before it gets here, and I am wondering how you guys determine your initial tire pressure?

I started at 38 and droped it around 2 psi at a time, ended up at 34 most of the time, sometimes drop it to 32 depending on where I am riding. thumbup thumbup

Got the tire on and decided to start at 35 psi. I'm taking it slow until I get comfortable with the tire. It is a different feel and the increase in traction is noticeable. One major difference I noted right away - riding on gravel. I live at the end of a long gravel driveway and the car tire provides a much more stable feel riding in gravel.

I'll post up some pics shortly.

A couple of photos of the tire mounted. Started at 35 PSI, but it felt unresponsive to me, so I went up to 38 PSI. I am going to keep it there for awhile until I get some more miles on. May try 40 after that.
