Urgent Prayer Request

One of our members and friend of mine Jaarch was involved in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon in Bakersfield!
He has some serious injuries and is temporarily paralyzed from the waist down.
Hopefully we will know find out more later today after they run some tests.

PLEASE, keep him in your prayers!!!

Quick update on Joe.... his accident didn't involve anyone else, just him. T2 - T5 are bruised, T4 and his spinal cord are severely bruised. With a slight bend on his spine. Still no feeling from the waist down. He's in a lot of pain and discomfort but, continues to be in good spirits as much as possible. The boys and I are doing fine, my father-in-law is with us. Just keep praying for the best! Thank you all for your support!!!

Good morning to all! Sorry I was too tired to update last night! Joe is keeping strong and continues to be the jokester! Corrections: T1 - T5 are bruised T4 is severe and his right collarbone and shoulder blade are fractured and no feeling from the chest down. He's sporting a new body brace with a matching neckbrace and fancy boots (which he called his new ugg boots) lol! He says, "he's bullet proof now!"
We're all doing well! Thank you all for the prayers and thoughtful messages it means so much to us all! I'm sorry I can't answer everyone individually so, please don't take it personal. Just know that is all being read and we know you're all with us in thoughts! Thanks again!!!

Update on Joe: The doctors say we may be looking at permanent paralysis from the chest down. I think it's way too soon to predict that. He also had his first round of physical therapy yesterday and they stood him up out of his bed. He couldn't feel anything but, they were impressed with his efforts. I think it was a huge accomplishment! He's still extremely tired and needs lots of rest. We will overcome whatever the future holds for us!!! Once again thank you for your support, we love you all!!!

Juanita posted on FB today that Joe was able to move BOTH FEET!!!!!!

He is still in Bakersfield but the plan is to move him to Fresno soon.
