When I had a 1300S I rode darkside and loved it. Now that I have my 1800 F just wondering if any one had a suggestion on what to put
on the back when I wear out my MC tire

05 VTX 1800 F2...Been darkside now for approx 18000 miles...performance is OUTSTANDING....TOYO PROXIE T1R 215/45ZR/18.....BECAUSE the f model has the 18 inch rear wheel it limits the choices....only 4 that i know of...toyo , cooper...and two others but right now can't recall the other.,.,.,,...,.,.,,at 15000 miles had a 4 inch nail that went through the tread a bairly punctured the sidewall....so i had to replace it...used less than 3/32 inch of the tread...tire looked like it was still new....replaced with a new toyo.........performance is much better than any of the other 5 m/c tires that i went thru in 38,000 miles.....better grip during acceleration/breaking/wet road grip/smootheness in ride/grip on the roadway doing the twisties....personally i'll NEVER go back to a m/c tire.......SURE some of the others will show their observations.....LOVE THE DARKSIDE........ESKIMO

I have a Kumho 215/45/18 and it went on bout 11 months ago and it's great. I get pegs on turns without trying and so far no wear after over 7000 miles. Stops on a dime and gripes like glue. I'm running 38/40lbs air. Loving it.
