Just took my vtx with Yokohama 205 on its first ride for about 10 miles. The rutted gravel driveway is a real challenge and it will take some getting used to on the turns but it rode so much better on the highway, which is 95% of what I do in my 100 mile drive to and from work everyday.

What pressure are you running? Usually higher pressures make riding on uneven surfaces (gravel, ruts, tar snakes, grooves) much more unstable.

I run 35 to 37 in my Yokohama. When I get down to 34 it feels to flex with the wife on back.

Re: new darksider
Got my first wierd look at a stop light today, 4 bikers pulled behind me and one kinda crouched down and look from left to right and looked at the guy next to him with a puzzled look.
