Might be buying a 2007 RoyalStar Tour Deluxe
Looking at buying a Royal Star soon. Coming from a VTX1300C. What size CT did you go with? Brand?
What is the best and most helpful RoyalStar forum? Any quirks I should know about this bike? The one I am looking at is basically stock. A 2007 model with 14K miles. The dealer is asking $8500. Is that a good price? I was thinking of offering $7500.
Thanks for any and all help.

We need to know the stock MT size before we can begin to suggest a size?

I have a 2005 RSTD... Really like the bike.....
Venturerider.org is the place to go for anything you would want to know about these. I just mounted a BFGoodrich 155 80R15 and it looks nice. You could go as wide as 165/80R15. Brands are limited. Kumo used to make a tire. Federal may still make one. The guys on Venturerider.org may have more recommendations.

price
Well I paid almost 8k back in 2005 for a 97 RoyalStar Tour Deluxe with 9k on it, I now have over 120K on it with just the normal maint oh and a water pump rebuild a few weeks ago. I think your OME tire is a 150/90/15 Which is what I had on mine, I put on a 155/80/15 BFG TA Car tire. So far so good. Hope that helps
