Re: Timing Mod.
Not familiar with what you are looking for.
The hits I got were mostly in regards to timing marks.

Re: Timing Mod
I have seen this on several Honda sites. It's a 4 degree timing mod. All that I've seen it for is 750's. Haven't seen the bigger bikes listed. You can find it on Web Search ( 750 Honda 4 degree timing mod.) Just wondered if anybody here had done one ?

Re: Timing Mod.
I looked into this. On 750 Shadows they are relocating the mounting bracket that the crank angle sensor is attached to
and thereby fooling the ignition system into firing 4 degrees advanced. Neat trick
On a VTX 1300 the ignition is controlled by the Ignition Control Module (the black box under the seat). It receives signals from the throttle position sensor, the crank position sensor and an engine speed sensor to control ignition timing.
The mod they are doing to 750's won't work on a 1300. I saw one post that a guy did it on his 1100 but hadn't road it yet.
He did say that it was different in the way he had to do it from a 750.
