Lube for tire mounting.
Ok what actually works best Ihave tried about everything and am ready to do the double darkside thang. Have a 18 inch rear Pilot for the front and a Wintersport run flat for the rear.
I would like to mount the Pilot tomorrow as my E111 is cupped badly on the left side and is a little balder than I am.
Iwould like nto mount both , but I want to get impressios of both independantly and the wintersport with the new front. Also need to pick up a couple more oz of bal beads before mounting the rear
I want this to be as painless as possible so I need the best lube to use

Not sure what's the best, I've heard of Crisco, cooking oil, dish soap, and fork oil all being used...

Re: Lube for tire mounting.
Sprayed a littlewd 40 on it and seemed to go on good Rear Michelin Pilot on the front.
Took a little ride and it seems like it nis gonna be just fine, put my Dyna beads from the E3 in it and at 75 there was no bouncing or vibration.
Gonna mount the Wintersport maby tomorrow, this weekend for sure

Re: Lube for tire mounting.
I used Windex last time. Dries out kinda quick so you have to move, but won't mess with the dynabeads inside. WD40 I imagine did the same thing; it's the world's crappiest lubricant. (very temporary)
