I need you guys advice if you have ridden or know anything about these helmets. It's for me and the wifey for us going on trips or short rides so we can talk without trying to holler through those full face helmets. I really don't want a modular helmet. The half helmets are just too much wind noise on the ears!

Thanks anyway.....just not interested in electronics for the full face helmets! I looked at them and I am just a no frills kind of rider! I want the wind, sound of good pipes, and my woman on the back!

Bobby I have used a 3/4 helmet since I was 14.
I too like the wind in my face but like the way they keep the wind and noise out of my ears.
I'm using a HJC CL-31 from Helmit City right now, http://www.helmetcity.com/page/HC/PROD/CL-31-solids/hjc-cl-31-black
It has good ventilation for those hot days and is about the same price as the two you posted, but they look good too.
I had a Bell helmet for years, it was a good helmet.

Some of you guys are a trip!!!! I feel like Rodney Dangerfield!!! hmmm

I looked at the HJC and didn't like the feel of them. I had one of their full-face helmets and just didn't like the felt or how well they held up.

Thanks guys...........I am going this weekend to get one of these for sure!

Nice looking helmet Bobby, but orange and white rally stripes?
Don't you think these colors are a bit too fast for you? Wink

Bell Mag 8

Just got my helmet in and it is very lite...I mean feather lite on your head. Noise is almost none existing and even quieter than any full face I ever put on with the visor down on the Mag 8. It's really hot and when the shield is down fully and shuts off ALL wind on your face from coming in and makes you feel like you are wearing a full face! Second thing I noticed...my ears didn't even come close to hitting any padding or pads in the helmet which is really nice. Nothing to bother you about the helmet.

Raise the shield about 1" and it is very comfortable and cool riding. Very nice helmet.

I do recommend this even for people who think they want they modular..I think this helmet will suffice for it! And I picked it up at CycleGear for $59!!! Great deal. They are an online store also.
