Welcome a dark newbie
Hey everybody. I own a 2007 Honda 1800-T VTX and want to go to darkside. I have a couple of ?'s. 1) Do you reget it? 2) what tire will fit my 1800 with no mod????????????? I appreciate it.

Don't regret it and wish I had done it sooner. I waited like 2 years because I was nervous about doing it myself and sealing my spokes on the S. It was easy and others will chime in with a size for your T. I am guessing 205/65-16?

Welcome and enjoy the ride. 205/65-16 is mostly used and will fit without a mod.
Check some post and you'll find out what most of us ride. To find your best price
just check a search engine.
Good luck, Robert.

Depends on brand you use. many run the Michelin Hydroedge, some the Goodyear Triple Tred, General Altimax, Bridgestone Potenza etc., etc. Tirerack.com and discounttiredirect.com are good places to start.

Re: Welcome a dark newbie
Never regretted since the first mile! I will NEVER ride anything else on a VTX on the rear but a car tire!
Secondly, no mod necessary so far. Some guys have made be had to grind a little bit under the fender, but others....nothing but smiles and miles!

ps....Just do it!!!!!

Congrats, seems a great choice. Let us know how she rides. Pic's are always welcome.
Behave a bit the first hundreds of miles, you have to get rid of the mold.
