Getting ready to roll out for Texas ....

We plan on making Hattisburg, Mississippi tomorrow night ( thursday ) and roll into Texas on friday evening. Local Texas friend Wizard has a 200 mile ride planned for saturday through the backroads then we head for Friendswood for some BBQ saturday night. Sunday we get back in the wind toward God's country beautiful east Tennessee.Hellofa ride to eat some BBQ but I've done it before. Picture below is my bike on Galveston Beach just after we crossed the Bolivar Penninsula.

great looking Valk!! Probably needs one more piece of chrome If you're near Granbury or Stevenville, there's a great BBQ place called the "Hard 8". But I think Texas has great BBQ all over the state. Have an awesome trip. I'm just a little jealous.

Just a thought for next year. There is a BBQ contest going on Friday and Saturday April 29th and 30th in Athens, Al. Not quite as far of a ride.
