Ok, the field is sparse for double darkside. Hoped riders would respond, "yeah, got 25 k and it looks new". No problem though, will get one. Jerry kindly mentioed he has the avon roadrider. My question is, since my front tire size is 110-90-19, what size do you guys run on the front? Don't want bike to work harder or anyting, Already compared weight and rear mt tires are about same weight.I googled rear mt tire with that size and they all have huge knobs. Is this the type you run? thought it would be more flat with deep treads. Any help please as I want to know which one i will get. thanks

Your front tire is the same size as a VTX 1300C... and there ain't much available for Double Darksiding.
Most 19" rear tires I've seen are dirt bike knobby tires.
I did find an adventure sport tire that might work and I posted about it here
https://mcdarksiders.forumotion.com/t4990-double-darkside-for-a-c-model

I think it might be a bit noisy though....

If you could find an 18" rim that fit your bike you would have lots of options.

How about the same 19 inch rim but other numbers changed? also, there are alot of choices with knobed tires. Are these smooth and ok to run on the front? I don't have a problem with them if they are ok.

That was my point with my first post. There ain't many options with a 19 inch tire regardless of width.
I wouldn't run a knobby on the front of a cruiser.

anyone know if size 100-90-19 will be ok on the front, as avon makes a rear tire that size.. smooth tread.

I would say it will work. Up or down 10mm really is only an 1/8" difference in height.

ok, so since it is shorter, and speedo is on front tire, will that make the speed difference even greater than it is now? seems so.

You can use a GPS to get the percentage that the speedometer is off, or an accurate car.

I got it because I wanted to know at a glance how fast I was going rather than doing the math in my head. Normally its a cop induced situation.
