I put new tires on both the front and rear about 4,000 mi ago and i have noticed that when you let go of the handlebars the front end wants to go into a tank slapper. i have been riding bikes for many years and have never had this issue. I was wondering if possibly the front tire has gotten out of balance and that is what is causing the problem or if it might be something else. mind you the only thing done was a tire change. Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated.

I'd expect it's more likely the steering head needs to be tightened. Adding more drag on the front, by putting on a ct, IMHO, makes a slightly loose steering head to cause this.

Not a difficult procedure, do some searching, as the Kaw manual is rather shaky on this for other models.

Triple tree bearings or front wheel bearings. Pretty sure about that.
