I have an 08 vtx 1800 T i am wondering if there are any problems putting a car tire with the size of 205/70/16 on my bike. I am concerned that the hardware mounting for the saddlebags and back rest will hit. and what about the exhaust mounting bolts ? anybody out there have a tourer and put this size tire on there VTX ?

If it fits an 1800R it will fit a T. Many Rs are using that tire size. You may have to see how far the bolts are protruding inside the fender for the bags and backrest under .25" you should be fine. The exhaust bolts will not be a problem.
