leaky ride home...

My buddy asked me along on a ride with his ST group today. We left at 6:30am, f-in 33*.
We ran 75 miles to Otis, MA for breakfast. There i saw the leak..
Anti-freeze dripping from (it turns out) the overflow tank. Seems it took a hit, rock or whatever.
I bowed out of the rest of the ride, dumped the contents of my water bottle in it and headed home.
Kinda disconcerning riding and knowing that theres anti-freeze leaking on the road just in front of your tire...took it easy, re-filled the tank twice on the way back.
Got home, jacked it up pulled the tank and it had a 3/8 inch dent and hole in the front of it.
JB welded it up, and ordered a new one. Think I'll install the new one and keep the fixed one for next time...
Gotta say, I felt pretty comfortable with the CT on back instead of a MT with all the liquid coming down in front of it. It never slipped or nuttin, even passed 2 cars over a double yellow cause they were so slow.
Just another reason CTs rule!!

I HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH THE TANK TO SEEMS THEY GET WEAK OR SOME THING AND A ROCK WILL TAKE THEM OUT
