I too am looking for a CT to replace a 200/50R/17 used on the rear of my T bird.So far,the only thing i've found,[but havem't shaken hands with it yet] is a 195/55R/17 tire used on the new Mini Cooper S models. There may or may not be a problem with belt clearance and the tire's sidewall. So until i actually see and take measurements I won't know if i can use it or not. Dave!!!

I mounted a 205/50/17 Bridgestone Potenza G 019 Grid on my '09 Liner (see avatar) and it works perfect!

Post  Darkside Thu Jan 06, 2011 6:00 am

The Potenza G019 Grid is Bridgestone's High Performance All-Season tire developed to meet the needs of sports car, coupe and sedan drivers who want to associate with Bridgestone's performance heritage developed through racing. The Potenza G019 Grid offers Bridgestone's UNI-T Technology, good wear and year-round traction, including in light snow.

One more thing to note, this tire has a 50,000 mile warranty. Firestone mounted it and said they will back that warranty, even on a motorcycle!
