Re: V-Rod help?
Thanks for the VROD tire discussion.
I got the Nitto Neogen 205/40R-18 installed on my new to me VROD wheel, the VRSCR. -5% wheel diameter.
The tire place said it was very difficult to get the tire on.
I use the HF tire machine usually as have been running a 80 series tire on the rear of the Kaw Concours for 10 years now but looking at this 40 series tire just knew I could not do it.
Hope to get it riding in a few days.

Re: V-Rod help?
Enjoying the CT on the HD VRSCR Street Rod.
Not many miles yet. Boy does the tread look flat across, much more than the 165/80/15 on my Kaw Concours that has had the CT since 2008
I was pleasantly surprised I could lean th VROD into the corner!

Re: V-Rod help?
After a few hundred miles on the Nitto Neogen 205/40R-18 rear CT I decided it was much too hard to get it to lean in corners.
So either take it off or....
Bought a Stanley SureForm rasp and made the outside 1/5 (?) of the tread much more 'rounded'. Had the bike on lift and running in 1st gear.
Wow what a difference.
Happy with the performance now!
