New Dark Sider
Got the tire on, Gtt 65-15. I had to take it to the tire shop to seat the bead, I chickened out at 90 lbs. So I went on my first ride tonight and all went well, only about 15 miles. At times it felt a little mushy, don't know if that's the right term but I was loving the new tire. Anyway I am officially on the Dark Side thanks to all you guys and this site.

Re: New Dark Sider
Thanks guys. I started at 38 and had to force my turns quite hard. When I got off work today I took some air out and it rode a lot better, waiting for the tire to cool so I can get an accurate reading. I ride solo all the time, what pressure do you suggest, from what I have read 32 sounds pretty good.

Drop by 4 lbs, go for a ride. If still not happy drop another 4. 2 lbs will make a huge difference until you get used to the tire. Once you find your sweet spot its great.

Re: New Dark Sider
I like the feel of mine at 24 psi .. just me and I am known to be a wee bit different from the crowd. I have ran this tire at 19 psi with no ill effects to the tire. At 24 it plants nicely diving into the twisties, at 19 it wallowed into them a bit. I find 35 to be a bit rough a ride.
See you out there

I'm at 35 right now, it rides nice. The more miles I do the confidence goes up, really liking this tire. I'm going to try 30lbs tomorrow and see how that feels.
