going to the darkside 1 question?

Hi All well I'm taking the plunge and heading to the Darkside.
My question is I have narrowed it down to 2 tires, the Goodyear assurance triple tread 205/60/16 and the Bridgestone hp 550
with all your wisdom can I get some feedback on these, and pros and cons....

Hear nothing but good about the triple tread. Have not heard anything about the bridgestone.

Same here....a lot of GTT, but someone just put on of the Bridgestones HP and said they love it. I don't run either, but I don't think you can go wrong with name brands...JMO
If you do the HP, you do it at your own risk because as far as I know, it's an un-known tire! Of course it may be a darkside tire also.

I am running the gytt 205-60-16 have been for 3 yrs. now have found no faults with it so I will give it a thumbs up.I know nothing about the brigstone.
