ok last one i hope for a bit? Empty ok last one i hope for a bit?

i am going to put the Metz 880 on the front. i can take it to the local shop for mounting and balancing. and when i buy the prellii(sp) i can take it to kevin for mounting and ballancing maybe i will take both tires to him and let him do it all. How much should mounting and balancing cost?

And would i be money ahead to buy the dyna bead or the air beads and peal all the weights off and just use those. if that is the case. how much do i put in each tire? and for the air bead do ihave to count them? or do they come in 1 oz packages?

Boy thats alot of questions.

But I am looking at

115 for the front metz
100.00 for the rear
And I want to make sure I get it right.

Plus my A$$ is on the line. so i doubly want to get it right.

Then what do I run for air pressure in both the front and the rear?

Thanks guys.

A local tire chain store mounted my tires at no charge. I bought the rear tire from them, but bought the front (Metzler) mail order. In both cases, I had removed the wheel from the bike and took it in. I tossed the tech a $10 for his trouble each time.

Best I recall, I run 3 oz of Dyna beads in rear, and 2 oz. in front. I run 40 psi in both tires.

I too use my local car tire store to mount mine. 7-8 bucks a piece to mount. The air pellets just guestimate what ya need, if they come in a 12oz pack pull out about a quarter of them and shove em in.

3 oz in the rear
2 oz in front

41 psi up front on my metz
34 in the rear for my car tire.

I suggest you get the .12 gram size instead of the .20 gram size that way you get more in the tire to help with the balancing. If you put the .12 gram size it take 228 count to make an oz. I put 1 1/4 oz. in the front about 250 count and 700 count in the rear!

Of course Smokey can't count pat 20! He can only count by saying, "another one.....another one, another one! after ever pellet after that.................Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
