trailer to tow bike
Needing some general guidance from those of you that tow your bikes.
Looking at Trailers. See some with just the rails. Looks like dirt bike trailers, hold 3. Not sure how to get a big cruiser on these.
See some platform trailers, flatbeds, with a front tire lock. Some of these trailers don't look like htey have springs. Thinking springs might be necessary for long trips.
planning on towing the bike to big bend, or places on business where I'll need a car, but want my bike for fun.
Again any and all advice, relevant or not, is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

re trailrto tow bike
Keep checking craigslist under motorcycles or barter section, I have seen many listed on there. I would recomend one with springs and at least 12in. tires, bigger would be better to keep heat down on tires and bearings.

Trailer
Have one that I bought 20 years ago from Northern Tool (kept under shed) that is a 4'x8'. Have 1/2 " treated plywood for flooring changed out tires to 12" and added angle iron rails to sides. When towing bike I bolt my front tire cradle to trailer bed adding metal plates to each side off plywood for extra support. Have pulled from home to Atlanta Ga 3 different times and no problems.
