I need your expert advice please
Here's my dilemma:
I have a 205 tire on my bike and it barely fits. So tight is it that the wires from my brake/turn lights are rubbing the tire when I hit a bump and causing them to ground out, thus blowing a 10amp fuse, which results in a total loss of power, meaning the bike dies. The tire is actually rubbing against the hollow bolt the wires from the lights go through.
I have removed the rear fender and dismantled the lights and now I want to reroute them to go between the chrome side fender plate and the bike frame. To do this I will have the drill through the housing of the lights (I believe they are Kury lights - see picture), then drill through the chrome plate.
So.....do you have any other suggestions (besides changing the tire - I have a lot of life left on the tire).

It's kind of hard to see the light, but I would say what you have planned should work. You have enough chrome on the sides that there should be some hollow spaces to route wires. You could also route them under the chrome side pieces and put them in chrome tubes or colored tubes attached to the bottom of the chrome.
By the way, nice bike.

Key gave you the best advice that I know of on the other board. time to snug em up under the finder. If the bend it too far into the finder you should think about drilling or knotching the post so as you can keep the wires up against the inner finder. Pics would help out a bunch here.
Good luck.
