A lot of us started off with the Kumho 165. Great tire to test out the darkside. You don't know it's a car tire.
Lot's of us like to go wideside and the tires above are popular.

Well, we could have a count, but don't see the need.
Guess it also depends on availability.
Saw dome Nexen passing by also, which was my first DS tire,
which I didn't like as much as my present Dunlop.

Re: If you had to pick one................
Kinda hard to say! We all have our favorites and if they would ever wear out we could try more tires to know for sure.... In 4 years I am just on my second tire and looks like it for another year...

Yeah, see, I chose my tire as there were only two available in that size. So it may not be the best or most popular, but available. Turns out, it seems to be a good choice as a number of car tire sites have rated it as the best of the Sport Car tires--which I wanted as I wanted that sidewall strength. Turns out there isn't that much weight or pressure on the sidewall anyway, but it's still nice to have.
Actually, maybe because of certain sidewall strength characteristics, it didn't ride as well for the first 5,000 miles, or so, as it did after that. Seems like it took that long to get fully broken in.

Cooper Zeon
I put 20,000 on the GYTT, it was a great tire, I now have just a tat over 1000 miles on the Cooper and its just fantastic, its rounded on the edges and it over twice as soft a rubber compound. GYTT has a 700 utog and the Cooper has a 280 utog and its like super glue, plus it handles like a MT in the corners.
This is not a square tire.
.
The ride is as smooth as a babys b*tt.
