where to find darkside info for HD rider

trying to find info for a friend of mine who rode my vtx and now wants to go to the dark side. He rides a 09 HD soft tail custom. Does anyone know where I can find some info on that bike.

FYI his came with the big fender kit, he is running a 200 MC tire right now...

dunno... we have had people ask in here, but they always seem to leave before we can find out if they did the conversion. But most HD's also have a fitment/tire size problem too... depending on how much clearance he has he might be able to go with a 205, but there are some 195's out there that would probly fit. What size tire is he running now? We can use that to try and find a tire that will be of comparable size and fit...

if the 195 would fit,i'd try that.

right now he is running a 200/70/17

I'm not finding anything in the 195/75/17.... or the 70 or 80 profile... the 75 would be closest...

I went through a lot of hell trying to find a tire that would fit my meanstreak. The problem is the 17 inch wheel. I believe the closest tire you will find is a 205/55/17. The 195 tires will quite a bit shorter. If I remember correctly the 205/55 was the highest profile tire I could find for a 17 wheel. If there is a little bit of extra clearance with the 200/70 tire I would try a 205 tire. Good luck and keep it safe.
