2004 VT1100C Tire Question (FAT)
Got referred here by HondaShadow.net. I was looking for a fat tire kit, but since I'm here, how fat can I go on my Spirit? I dropped it 1.5" with a Scootworks kit, and I generally run it with the shocks turned all the way down. I'd change the fender if need be, but how fat could I get with a car tire? And where in Saint Louis could I get it done?

Interesting Question. Mine is still stock height. For stock ... the 205 is the widest that has been tried. Someone was hinting that they may try something wider like a 215. Hopefully some of the others will be along shortly that may have some more knowledge on what you are trying to do.

205 for sure. I don't think anyone has tried a 215 yet.
I'm interested in your lowering kit. Should look sharp with a wide tire on the back. take a look at the triple tread. Nice tread pattern, would like nice on a lowered bike.
Do you do a lot of long distance riding? Two up? pack anything on there? Wonder if lowering it has any affect on the above.... I rode a lowered Yamaha 1600 and it was really nice. Low center of gravity, it handled well. But it was strictly a boulevard bike-all farkled up.
