ok im convinced,i have a 97 vt1100 spirit.it has a metzler 170-80 15 on it now with about 3500 miles on it so i have a ways to go befor i switch,what id like to know is what is a good size ct that will work?the bike has progressive 412 shocks on it so it is lowerd a little,i worred about fender clearance and if a ct will lower it more,anyone out there got advive,it wood make me a happy cruzzer.thanks Rick from GA

Thanks Doc, you got a Ace i have a spirit two difrent fenders im worred a bout the clearence with 2 up, i live in north georga and ride in the mountians daily,do the dragon 2-3 times a year, its 3hours from here,id like ti hear from some spirit riders and get there feed back.

The 205/65r15 on my 98 spirit 1100 does not rub when bottoming out. Is that the answer you wanted?

I run a Douglas 195r/65x15 on my 1996 vt1100c-2 ace @ 37 lbs pressure. I ride 2-up most of the time while pulling a lil trailer. i have has no issues at all .
