Ebony is Darkside now!!! (Up dated with pics)

I'm taking off Saturday Feb. 9th. Twin and I are going to turn "Ebony" to the darkside. We will have to take some pics side by side. My old school 165 R model, and Twins Wideside C model. Then we ride!

Smokey, I'll be darkside for a few weeks before you get here. I took off Friday the 22nd so we can do our thing. Oh yeah Mr Harold wants to come meet you when you come down.

When you do it you have to let us know what you think.

I don't know how much time you are going to have to ride, eat, cut trees, see family, etc. If you want me to plan something out with Bobby and Harold let me know.

Here is my rough Idea of what I need to do, I will arrive late thursday, visit with stepdad. Early friday morn hookup with you and get busy getting some wood on the ground. With a little luck and a lot of hard work I am hoping we can at least get them all felled friday. I have no idea what to expect for saturday yet I am sure there will be more tree work to be done, but if they are all on the ground I am sure you can handle getting them hacked up and burned. That will free us up to go ride and play for a few hours. I am planning to leave out early sunday morning as I am due at work at 10 sunday night.
Now all I need is a half way decent break in the weather to get this all done.

All we really need to do is just make 7 of 'em fall. Who cares if it looks like a hurricane came through. Watching 'em fall is the fun part. The rest I can do later.

Besides that leaves more time to meet up with the fellas and have a little fun.

Sounds like a plan then. Falling 7 trees should not take to long at all. One word though "chaps". nough said bout that.

Buying the whole "get up" as per your description and recommendation. I already found it all. Just waiting to make the purchase.

I finally got in touch with Gary, and my Dynabeads are on the way.

Well I finally got it put on. Man what a difference. Its the same but different. The tires are almost exactly the same but DS is way more cushy. It actually has some give to it. The first bump in the road I hit at 45, I knew, I freaked and started laughing. Twin and I went for a little ride. It held the corners great. I tried 5 burnout before I got her to spin on the 6th. Went back to look at it. Dang Awesome. So you know I had to do it again. ((of course I had to make sure I had ALL the mold release off)) Let me tell you when this thing hooks up, Baby does she hook up.

what was going under the knife???

cutting off the old rubber valve stem??? and then replacing it with a metal stem...

I replaced my valve stem with a metal one but I didn't cut the old one off until it was off the bike?

Just curious.

It was a joke.......WE staged the photo!!!!!!!! (I asked him to do that because Ebony is his baby). We took off the original stock dunnie and installed the darkside..... (Going under the knife as in cosmetic surgery....... ) We were giving Ebony a darkside. Sorry for the confusion!
