1st ride on darkside
As you all know ,i have working on my bike getting ready to go to az.
Got Angel back together yesterday with the the Douglas 195/65x15 ( with dyna beads ) and the trailer hitch on , lights wired up.
Took Angel out for a 200 mile run on the ct , to this point , she rides smoother handles the wind better and seems more stabile to me .
Annie ( the real Angel ) says she does not feel the buzz in but any longer ( BIG PLUS HAHAHA ) . Now why in the world didn't i do this sooner ( scratches head duh )
Thx to you people and this site for all the great info in helping me in this indeavor
annies says she is going to take new pics of the bike this weekend and she will figure out how to share them with you all on this site
Ride safe ride proud Ksthumperwolf & Angel

Re: 1st ride on darkside
my girlfriend kind of LIKES the buzz in her butt....don't tell her the CT reduces the vibrations.
I want to see some pics of your bike AND the hitch and trailer.
You'll get 20k out of that douglass....and the trailer...that's intriquing! You and Annie are in for some adventures.....
And you two will be safer from the kansas sidewinds. Your back end will stay put and you will have a rear brake that you won't be afraid to use.....be sure to test that out. Take the bike out at 20, lock up the back. 30, lock up the back...up to about 50. Tell us if that back end comes around or tracks straight behind you.....
