Just got back from Minnesota

Tuesday morning the air compressor froze up on my truck in Mt. Pleasent, Iowa . I was layin' down some good miles up until that point. The roads going up thru Tennessee - Kentucky - Illinois - Missouri - Iowa and Minnesota was all in great shape in fact I did'nt see any snow and salt until I got into Iowa.On the way back to Dixie was another story my truck is caked in road salt the road crews was out in force yesterday in Minnesota - Wisconsin - Illinois - Indiana - Kentucky and Tennessee .

This is near Owatonna ,Minnesota folks had their pick-up's and car's out on the lake. I've never done this but would love .

But I know now why the south is full of Yankee's. It was 2 degrees and 25 mph winds Tuesday morning makin' a " feels like " of - 12 One thing I can say about the folks that live in this part of the country they have some awesome barns and beautiful homes on the large farms.

This is the Minnesota / Wisconsin state line. This is a first for me seeing the mighty Mississippi froze over.

Wow...never seen the Mighty Mississippi frozen before....but I have seen icebergs as big as barges coming by the Mississippi River Bridge in Baton Rouge before. They were huge.
