Embrace the darkness!
Got my General Grabber 205/70/15 on today!
Tire, $98
Mounting, $5
The ride, priceless!!
I've ridden curves, interstate, wet and dry pavement, day and night with it all in the same day. All I can say is wow!
I can feel the improvement in the curves! I definitely have more traction with the grabber.

I'm real pleased with it. Every time I get around it I have to stop an look at it, it just looks so cool.

Darkside Rulz!...... Welcome to the wonderful world of the Darkside. It's going to keep impressing you every time you ride it! It does me all the time and I have been riding it for 4 years now. Just wait until you get caught in some wet riding conditions and then that car tire will really show you how good it is. It will almost stick in the rain as good as a motorcycle tire sticks in the dry....
Yes, I like the look of the car tire on the back also! I think it looks kewl.

Re: Embrace the darkness!
8500 mile update. After 8500 miles, rode the Dragon, lots of hard take offs, lots of twisties, and the only wear I see is the sides of the tire are rounding off a little. Still plenty of tread left!
Re: Embrace the darkness!
I cant wait to ride the dragon again. Did it last august, I was on my bar bike while my dad was following on my darkside VTX. He said the bike was planted and never felt loose no matter how hard he pushed it. Unfortunately my bar bike is low to the ground so it was just one long grind for me. Since then, got fork extensions and now I can lean much farther into a turn, next time will be more fun. If thats possible.
Do the Dragon!!!

Update!
Still loving the darkside! I just put my second darkside tire on. I got a little over 16,000 miles out of the old one. It still had enough tread for dry pavement, but I ride year round and felt it would be better to have some good deep tread in case I get caught out in some nasty weather. 16,000 is still more than twice the best mileage I ever got out of a motorcycle tire.

Did you "stick" with the "Grabber" ?

Re: Embrace the darkness!
Yep. I'll probably try another tire eventually, but I went with the Grabber again.

Hey Matt;
I'm here in NC and looking to get a CT. Did you put that tire on yourself or did you find a shop to do it for you?
thanks
