The case for Obama
The method is far from scientific, but Halloween stores are predicting the winner in the presidential election, and there's no exit polling needed - only political mask sales. Halloween suppliers say sales of masks of presidential candidates have predicted the winner in the last several campaigns. So far, that's good news for Barack Obama, whose mask was outselling John McCain's ...
Just thought that since we seem to have a McCain thread, maybe it would be ok to have an Obama thread.
BOO!

Do You Know Enough About Barack Obama?
Obama Hussein ... who would have ever guessed that a name like that would have been taken seriously for President?
And then you come to the man himself. Or man/child if you like. The millionaire who lets his half brother live on less than $12 a year in Nairobi. The man who's favorite bible passage is: "Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you do to me."
Obama's brother found in Kenya

Re: The case for Obama
O
Yeah, they are 2 very unfortunate choices. They both have egos so big its amazing that they fit through doorways. Unfortunately a global socialist is still better than a marxist. Its really sickening.
It ticks me off to no end that McCain is running on a reform agenda where he promised to veto pork and name names. And yet -- this giant pork laden $850 billion bail out bill passed without so much as a wimper. The people primarily responsible for this travesty, the democrats, just got themselves totally exonerated from any culpability in this. Apparently he only goes after the 'bad guys' when it involves republicans. He wont touch democrats no matter how much damage they cause this economy or this country because that would be 'partisan'.
He also pledged if elected president to appoint Democrats to his Cabinet. And yesterday I find out he wants to appoint Algore to some sort of advisory position on the global warming hoax. He 'reaches out' to everyone. But he reserves the under-carriage of his bus for conservatives. A look at his history and political view explains this.
Its insane. But I know that Obama would be even worse. Especially on national security and world security. I would definately expect a real depression to follow his election too. The only conservative on either ticket is Palin. But VP's are nothing in the grand scheme of things. With the exception of TR (Teddy Roosevelt) perhaps.
Top 10 Tax Sweeteners in the Bailout Bill
As more and more of Americas leaders reject God and Americas base values so does God reject America. But we can still turn things around thru grass root efforts from the ground up. We can prayerfully go to the polls and throw out some of these anti-american bums and vote in conservatives from the local elections to the state elections to the federal elections. We need to stop this (Obama) Marxist from getting elected first and then take the Republican party back from the socialists (Bush, McCain).
Republican is 'the new gay'
Do Facts Matter?

Re: The case for Obama
I believe things can get "worse" and, will have to before we (as a people) can get together and create a better way to run a govenment. It takes a pretty bad toothache to get me to the dentist. It will take a cataclysmic set of circumstances to push enough people do this. This is not a change that will be created by voting. This is a change that will have to come about by the complete reorganization of our government. It IS so that we have had to choose the lesser of 2 evils for as many elections that I've been alive for. Do whatever you can to keep your spirits up, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
