set some new land speed records

I dont have my bike back together so I took the old camaro out for a spin. I made 4 passes and set 4 land speed records.

Best run was 191.2 and worst was 189.4 mph. Not bad for a stock bodied 1967 camaro weighing 3350 lbs. That makes the camaro faster than my ninja zx-14 .... for now. I do have a 1530 cc stroker kit coming .

on a side note, I talked to the owner of one of the fastest bikes there ( 259 mph turbo busa) and he said that he gets 1 run at maxton with a back tire. He said that he had seen me run a car tire and talked to his tuner about that. The tuner said that they have any experience with that and did not want to experiment .

cant wait to get back to maxton and get the bike over 200 mph on the dark side :-)

I am still waiting for Muzzy to send the 1530 stroker kit for the zx14. I think that will get my 200 mph darkside run..
