Foothills Parkway-The Dragon-Cherohala Skyline...Today

Took off this morning on a solo ride into the mountains. I called Lucky 13 he wanted to go one way and I wanted to go the other so we said " Be Careful " to each other. It was a beautiful sunny day in the Tennessee / North Carolina mountains today. I also got pulled over on The Dragon he pretty much slapped my hands and told me to chill out some I said " Yes Sir "

Deals Gap Store....Makin' money hand over fist. I stood in line to get a Dew and the dude behind me from Maryland had so many t-shirts he could hardley carry them .The restaurant was packed as well and they are building another ??? between the store and motel.

The Chrome Pony is looking good Joe. Looks like you had another great ride. The area I will be moving to when I get the new job is about 70 miles from Tellico Plains, just to give ya an idea. Again sir thanks for the great pics and sharing the ride. Looking forward to making quite a few of these with you.

Its right at 65 miles from my house to the Tellico Plains Exxon ( The Biker Shed ) looks like that will be a good spot for us to hook up and go drag some pegs Do you still plan to meet us friday evening in Indiana ? We ride year around and damn near every weekend with 8 to 10 over-night weekend rides....Bring It...LET'S RIDE

I will not be able to meet up friday. I will be getting home from the interview / looking the area over and prescoping houses late in the evening Friday and have to be at work at 10pm. Working 2 double shifts over the weekend now so my weekend is shot.

OK ...Maybe we'll get to meet someday I look forward to that day and good luck with the job you will love being near the North Georgia / Western North Carolina / East Tennessee mountains you really can't make a bad turn on them mountain roads cause they all call out for the art of motorcycling.The Cooler Run near Sushes being one of my favorite's plus you can tie Blood Mountain in on this ride.
